"Image based on a piece of music" My first thought was riders of the storm by the doors but Mirage by LadyTron won I do not have permission to have rights to her music

This image represents a being dazed and lost in the desert. The horse in the background of the sky represent moving forward and in the desert heat you tend to see what you want most. I made everything blurry because your supposed to be in a daze. I made a custom paint brush then started painting. I then used the blur and the smudge tools to blend everything together.

"Image that is feminine" Thanks too Alesha Scott at modlemuse.com, Binks at morguefile.com , and both my teachers I was able to make this pic possible by using the polygonal lasso tool to extract the girl then put her into the flower. I thought the contrast of dark and vibrant colors added to the picture.

"Image aimed towards children" First I got this image of dirty hands from Belglib on morguefile.com and made it my main background. I then got an image of chucky from hoodsie on morguefile.com. I cut  chucky out by using the magic wand tool. I then put him in between two duplicate background layers to make it look like hes in front of his leg but behind his hand. I made this picture because my niece and nephew never wash there hands. They always touch my computer with sticky fingers and mess everything up. So I made a message aimed towards children. My niece is 8 and it worked like a charm.

“Image has no words at all” I first custom made a paint brush and then made the back ground. I then used the vector tool to make a boarder for my hearts. I then painted the hearts with two different shades of red and blended them together. I then used the shape tool to start my flower out at the very center. I then painted everything and blended the colors together with the smudge tool. I tried to give it a ghostly look. To me this says "does love really exists or is it just an illusion. This started out as my “feminine” picture but I decided against it.

"image with one color" First I downloaded this picture from morguefile.com by Summer banks. I then changed the RGB scale and gave her a blue tint. Next I put a satin affect to give the picture more depth.   Next I changed the saturation so that her face was not completely blue. I did this because the blue represents sadness that has not yet completely taken over. It also calls attention to her expression on her face.

"Made Completely From Scratch" I made this jpeg to help me with my cartoon that I am doing in another class. We have to write storyboards for our cartoons so this is one of the highlights of 2d animation. I made everything in Illustrator with the vector and shape tools. I then made a "talk bubble" and put the text from the script inside of that.

 Orignial

I made this jpeg in Illustrator to the category of “image based on a photograph”. I got this picture off of morguefile.com thanks to chamomile. I then copied the border of the orange with the pen tool. Next I made a pallet of all the colors from the original orange. Then made a border around each individual slice and painted them with my custom brush. Next I made the inside boarder white and put a grainy texture to it. I never noticed how much detail and one little orange actually has until this project.

"Image is based on typography" First I made a red background the locked it. I then used the vector tool to make the top and the bottom boarder. I added a black and red spherical design to make it seem like the top and bottom belong with each other. I  wrote out all of the text traced it with a vector tool. After I had all my separate layers of text I then tool the 1 and turned it into and I so that they would both connect resulting in an cross between 317 and Cinema. My goal was to give the image a MTV feel and at the same time promote professionalism.

"Image is completely vector" This image is a still for one of my videos that I will use. I made this in Illustrator completely with the vector and pen tool. First I used the text tool to spell everything out. Then I traced the text with the vector tool. I filled in the blank boarder and made shadows on the text to make it seem like light was coming through. I strategically place the shadows to make the text seem more realistic. I then took the vector tool to make the bottom boarder and the shapes up top. The 7 is supposed to represent a projector. I was going for a look that would make 317 Cinema look cutting edge and professional.

“Image based on a Movie or TV show”  This picture was inspired by the latest 007 movie credits. In the credits they had girls made of water fighting girls made of fire. This picture is called Water v.s. Fire and to me it represents man kind in a never ending battle of good v.s. evil. Each are equally matched and each needs the other. First I made a pallet of color then I made a custom brush for both fire and water. I then Started painting  and blending. Last I took the smudge tool and made waves and blended the two together.

“image based on a famous work of art” I first downloaded this image from    http://edtech2.boisestate.edu/traverk/502/TSC.html and then made it my background. I then took a picture of my value brand toilet paper with lighting I thought was appropriate. I then Used the pen tool to extract the TP from its original picture

“masculine Image” This picture was inspired by MANserws First I made a background that had a going through time feel to it. I then took pictures of the car, gun, and woman from morguefile.com cut them out and put them in strategic positions. I then made them transparent to give the picture the feel of the background.

AFTER

                                                                                 BEFORE

"redo" The top is the after the bottom is the before. First I made the grave yard picture my background. Next I used the “polygonal lasso” tool to cut out a rainbow from another picture. I then placed the rainbow over the graveyard and lowered its opacity. Next I used the “transform” tool to make the rainbow bigger. After I placed the rainbow in the right spot I then used the “smudge” tool to smudge out the edges of the rainbow to give it a ghostly feel. I redid the picture and tried to make the rainbow look more ghostly.
I got these pictures from morguefile.com

Before   I took this class ^^^^

After vvv
“redo” This is a promotional picture that I use at the begging of my videos to introduce how I did it. I re-did this picture based on the critiques that my teacher had given me. I used  typography to make the letters stand out more. Gave it a cleaner look than before.  Its supposed to say that this video company is cutting edge, trendy, and professional.
